Approved Life Support Courses
The Commission on Continuing Professional Development (COCPD) has awarded Prescribed credits for the activities listed below.
AAFP members may self-report Prescribed credit for completing the following life support activities without documentation. Members may log in online and report their credit at www.aafp.org/cme.
CME providers have two options:
1. Not to submit a CME application to AAFP. However, no reference to AAFP accreditation can be made on promotional materials.
2. Submit an online CME application or complete the Application for Approval of Live Activities in Word and pay the appropriate review fee, plus an additional $100 data entry fee. Once the CME provider receives the official credit approval, the AAFP CME accreditation statement may be used on promotional materials.
NOTE: ALSO activities are exempt from the review fee.
