Medical Journals

These are regularly published collections of articles intended for medical professionals to provide continuing medical education. Journals may be in print, audio, video or online formats. CME providers may also seek a one or two year approval of AAFP CME credit.

The review fee for medical journals is determined by the number of credits being requested for approval and whether the CME provider is requesting a one or two year approval of AAFP CME credit. The two-year term applies to one year of content, e.g., 2006 journals (January-December) would have two years of read time.
