The Department of Teaching and Learning is committed to developing and promoting faculty who are innovative, work collaboratively and are committed to high-quality education for all primary care providers and their practice.

The department is a resource to faculty for the development of relevant CME that is learner-focused. Whether it be live presentations, technology-based instruction, or enduring materials, the goal of the department is to develop and support faculty in all roles in which teaching and learning occur.
The Department of Teaching and Learning values and supports professional development, excellence in teaching, and instructional technologies. The department serves as an advocate for educational initiatives by providing on-line tools and resources to faculty members.
