Summary

This 60-minute, lecture-based presentation identifies the recommendations of the US Preventive Services Task Force for screening female patients and the vaccination recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices on vaccinations; and addresses lifestyle modifications for women to maintain health.

Author Information

Richard Allen, MD, MPH, is the associate residency director of St. Mark's Family Medicine Residency in Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned a medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Quincy. He also earned a master of public health from Harvard University. Dr Allen has a special interest in preventive medicine. He enjoys the mountains of Utah and lives with his wife and six daughters.
