Pulmonary Nodule Evaluation

This lecture-based presentation addresses the pulmonary nodule evaluation.

  1. Distinguish patients with risk factors for lung cancer
  2. Educate patients about the risks and benefits of screening for lung cancer in relation to the 2007 ACCP guidelines
  3. Counsel patients who smoke about the risk and the programs and therapy options available to help them quit
  4. Evaluate a solitary pulmonary nodule to assist in determining etiology
  5. Coordinate the care of patients with lung cancer
