Stuart Silverman, MD, FACP, FACR, is an attending rheumatologist in the Division of Rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. He is a clinical professor of medicine and rheumatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr Silverman is known internationally for his work in fibromyalgia and osteoporosis. He is currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the National Osteoporosis Foundation, and an American Society for Bone and Mineral Research representative to the Interspecialty Medical Council of the foundation. Dr Silverman serves on the Council of Scientific Advisors of the International Osteoporosis Foundation.
