Cardiac Testing

After reading this CME Bulletin, you should be able to:
  1. Differentiate cardiac tests for patients with different risk factors.
  2. Compose a clinical decision-making strategy to define and evaluate the sensitivity, specificity, and predictive values of cardiac tests in combination with patient selection criteria and other factors.
  3. Formulate plans to interpret cardiac test results, relay necessary information to patients, institute appropriate treatments, and optimize care for patients with cardiovascular disease, particularly where they require referral to sub-specialists.
This CME Bulletin is supported through an independent educational grant to the AAFP from Astellas Pharma Global Development Inc.
