Author Information
B. Wayne Blount, M.D., M.P.H., is a professor in and vice-chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Blount received his medical degree from the University of Miami (Fla.) School of Medicine, and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Washington, Seattle. He completed a family practice residency at DeWitt Army Community Hospital, Fort Belvoir, Va., and a fellowship in faculty development at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Wash.
Stef Stendardo is a freelance writer based in Montclair, N.J.
