Physician Product Reviewer
-- The Center for Health Information Technology offers resources to help physicians with all aspects of EHR adoption. One resource, in particular, is the Physician Product Reviewer that contains more than 700 reviews of EHRs by AAFP members.
Federal Health IT Incentives
-- This page contains information about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which includes the maximum $44,000 incentive for physicians who adopt certified EHR technology and demonstrate meaningful use. The page also contains information about the Medicare e-prescribing incentive program.
- Meaningful Use -- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, in close collaboration with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, released the greatly anticipated Final Rule on Meaningful Use July 13, 2010, which outlines how eligible professionals can qualify for incentives for adoption and use of certified EHR technology. This page includes a link to the final rule and corresponding fact sheet, a link to an article published in AAFP News Now, a detailed AAFP analysis, as well as information about a Webinar titled "Understanding the Meaning of Meaningful Use.
