Family Medicine's Foundation
Family medicine’s core values and ideals provide a solid foundation for the patient-centered medical home. In our training and in our practices, family physicians consider the whole patient within the context of his or her family and community, taking into account the physical, psychological and spiritual components of health and disease. Our values reflect a comprehensive approach to patient service and embody the continuous healing relationship.
