Hold a team meeting
Discuss promotional tools to use in your marketing plan, including these:
- Notifying existing patients via mail or email
- Announcing website URL in voicemail system messages
- Including URL on business cards, stationery, prescription pads, and posters in reception area and exam rooms
- Including URL in email signature lines
- Promoting website in practice newsletter
- Listing URL in directories of managed care organizations
- Adding URL to practice sign on building
- Advertising in local newspaper and on radio and TV stations and community billboards
- Starting a free page for your practice on the social networking site Facebook and using it to bring patients and potential patients to your website
Create and carry out the promotional plan
- Include the promotional tools agreed to in the meeting, assign staff and set deadlines for the work.
- Track progress on the plan in subsequent team meetings.
