The American Academy of Family Physicians supports the concept of access to essential health care to all peoples regardless of social and economic status. The AAFP supports efforts to identify appropriate funding of these essential medical services, and the AAFP continues to support its basic concepts and long-term goals of access to comprehensive and continuing medical care for all.
