CME Materials, Distribution by Commercial Entities
Commercial interests may not distribute accredited CME materials produced by the AAFP but may distribute materials that promote AAFP-sponsored CME activities or products with AAFP approval.
The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) defines a commercial interest as any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients.
