High Deductible Health Plans

The American Academy of Family Physicians recommends that high deductible health plans (HDHP's) provide first dollar coverage for age-, gender-, and risk-appropriate preventive services as recommended in the AAFP "Summary of Recommendations for Clinical Preventive Services," without subjecting such coverage to a deductible or co-insurance.
