ICD-10-CM, the clinical modification of the International Classification of Diseases, 10th revision (hereafter referred to as ICD-10), will become the HIPAA-mandated code set for reporting of diagnoses and conditions on October 01, 2013.
The change from ICD-9 codes to ICD-10 codes will be significant. The AAFP will continuously add information and resources to this web page to assist our members with this change and to provide aids for planning your practice's conversion and code set education.
