CME With a QI Focus

METRIC: Measuring, Evaluating and Translating Research Into Care -- METRIC is an innovative online practice improvement program that allows you to earn CME credit in your office while improving patient care. The program is designed to assist family physicians in fulfilling the requirement for Part IV of Maintenance of Certification.

Practice Enhancement Forum (PEF) -- The Practice Enhancement Forum is a quality improvement (QI) initiative developed to improve patient care by providing family physicians and their office staffs with education and hands-on assistance with QI, office redesign and implementation of the Chronic Care Model (CCM). It is a grassroots effort offered at the AAFP constituent chapter level in cooperation with local QI experts.

Improving Outcomes in Diabetes Care: Benefitting Patients and Practitioners -- This activity, designed for the health care team, focuses on performance improvement and highlights QI tools to assist health care professionals in effectively managing the care of their patients who have diabetes.
