What are the designated health services as defined by Stark?
There are 11 categories subject to the referral restrictions:
- Clinical lab services
- Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology services
- Radiology and other imaging services (including nuclear medicine as of 01/01/07)
- Radiation therapy services and supplies
- Durable medical equipment and supplies
- Prosthetics, orthotics and prosthetic devices and supplies
- Home health services
- Outpatient prescription drugs
- Inpatient hospital services
- Outpatient hospital services
- Parental and enteral nutrients, associated equipment and supplies.
