Many women -- and men -- will wear red Feb. 3, the day the American Heart Association calls National Wear Red Day for Women. The day is part of the annual Go Red for Women campaign, supported by the Academy as a way to encourage women to protect their heart health.

Posters, a two-page newsletter and other tools are available online for health professionals and business and community leaders to use to raise public awareness of National Wear Red Day.

- ways to recognize a heart attack and act quickly.
