Family physicians and supporters of family medicine have contributed some $30,000 to FamMedPAC since the Academy's federal political action committee began accepting donations in May.
That was good news for Mark Cribben, J.D., whose first day as director of FamMedPAC was June 20. Members of the FamMedPAC Board of Directors have themselves contributed to the PAC and have collected contributions from other AAFP members at several recent meetings. Contributions also have arrived in the mail, and members soon will have the option of contributing online, said Cribben.
