CME Credit: As Close as Your PDA

Would you like to assign one more task to your trusty Palm OSĀ® PDA? Then check out a new vehicle for delivering up-to-date clinical knowledge and for earning and recording CME credit -- CME in Hand.

CME in Hand
Here's what you get with this program: a series of evidence-based clinical modules on topics such as diabetes, pain, obesity and asthma. Each module consists of a set of questions, with each question typically based on a short clinical case description. Correct and incorrect answers are immediately verified, and literature citations are provided so you can read up on specific topic areas. Work through each module at your own pace; CME in Hand saves your answers automatically.

When you've completed the entire module, sync your PDA with your computer the next time you're online. Your responses will transfer automatically and your CME credit will be added to your AAFP member record. Each module is eligible for up to .75 Prescribed CME credit.

Get started today. Try the first module -- on hypertension -- free of charge for a limited time. Future modules will cost $8 each. Instructions for downloading and installation are available via the CME in Hand Web site.

Note: The program is not currently available for Mac OS or Pocket PC users.
