I read the article, "Accessing Prescription Assistance Programs Just Got Easier," in AAFP News Now. I want to make you aware of another resource for information on these programs.
NeedyMeds.com is an online information source on patient assistance programs and other sources of help for those in need. The Web site has information on nearly 300 companies and programs, and the data are updated regularly.
As a family physician, an AAFP member and president of NeedyMeds Inc., I understand just how important these programs are to patients and physicians. I hope readers will take a few minutes to check out the site and use it as a resource for patients.
