AAFP Offers Four Chances to Take Board Review Course
By News Staff
Family physicians applying for American Board of Family Medicine certification or recertification this year have not one, but four opportunities to participate in the AAFP's Board Review course before the calendar flips to 2007.
The first course will be held May 7-13 in Kansas City, Mo., and participants can save almost $200 by registering by April 5. Later courses will be held May 21-27 in Greensboro, N.C., and June 25-July 1 in Seattle. An express course will be held November 8-11 in Dallas.
Participants who sign up for the six-and-a-half-day courses or the weekend express course will not only experience the Academy's intense, broad-based review program -- they also can take 60 percent off the AAFP's Family Medicine Review Self Study Package. In addition, they will receive a free audio CD and handout on test-taking techniques.
Course syllabi will be provided to all registrants in either CD-ROM or paper formats. For an additional fee, participants can receive the syllabus in both formats.
