The course is designed to provide state-of-the-art, evidence-based education about all phases of pregnancy. Attendees can learn how to
- apply the latest advances in preconception, prenatal, birthing and newborn care;
- balance technology and tradition in a patient-centered care approach;
- apply practical strategies to meet the medical and emotional needs of families during pregnancy, childbirth and new parenting; and
- discuss the economic and quality assurance issues of providing perinatal services in a family practice.
Save money by registering by June 16. Registration may be done online. Optional hands-on sessions on episiotomy repair and on labor positions and pain relief also will be offered at an additional cost.
