10/4/2006

It's not too late to review for this year's American Board of Family Medicine examinations nor too early to get a head start on next year's exam.

The four-day Board Review Express course held Nov. 8 to 11 in Dallas will bring attendees up to speed on all of the exam's need-to-know topics, including

  • endocrinology,
  • cardiology,
  • fever and asthma in children,
  • prenatal care,
  • trauma,
  • surgery, and
  • mood disorders
The Board Review Express course also will cover

  • discussions of common clinical problems in family medicine,
  • a summary of evidence-based approaches to current advances in diagnosing and treating common clinical problems, and
  • a demonstration of successful test-taking techniques.
Physicians who register for the class also are eligible for the AAFP Family Medicine Board Review Self-Study Package at half price. This special offer reduces the price of the package by more than $450. Call (800) 944-0000 to take advantage of this offer. Please have your registration code, which is included in your acknowledgement letter, handy when calling.
