It's Easy

Report CME Before Year's End

11/14/2007

If your Academy membership is coming up for re-election, it's easy to get a jump on the process: Report all CME credit earned during your re-election cycle by Dec. 31.

For Your Benefit
To start, view your CME record (Members Only) on the AAFP Web site. It shows exactly how much CME you've earned in the various categories. You can report additional CME, review your re-election status and learn about upcoming CME opportunities if you need more credits.

Don't forget that of the 150 CME credits required every three years for AAFP membership, 75 must be Prescribed credits, and at least 25 must be from a group learning experience. For members whose re-election cycle ends in 2007, CME must have been earned between Jan. 1, 2005, and Dec. 31, 2007.

Credits may be reported until March 31, 2008 -- but you can do it now. Report all of your credit, including your teaching, publication, presentation, research and enrichment activities, online; by fax at (913) 906-6269; by phone at (800) 274-8043; or via mail to AAFP CME Records, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood, KS 66211.

Need more credits? Take a look at the Academy's self-study CME options; many are available at no charge.
