Mount Sinai, AAFP NRN Recruiting Physicians, Patients for Pediatric Study
By Matt Brown
According to AAFP NRN project manager Rusty McLouth, the project is looking for primary care physicians and staff members who care for three distinct groups of patients: mothers who
- are more than 18 years of age, classified as high-risk OB patients and have had a live birth within the past 24 months;
- are more than 18 years of age, classified as high-risk OB patients, and had a baby under 2,000 grams who was admitted to the NICU; and/or
- have children who visited the emergency department for asthma-related reasons during the past 18 months.
"Practice participants may qualify for, and participate in, more than one survey and recruit patients for more than one group. Patients will receive $25 for the interview, while practice participants will receive $100 per interview and cohort they recruit up to $300."
(Editor's Note: Enrollment for the collaboration has ended.)
