Aug. 1 is Deadline to Apply to Receive AAFP Degree of Fellow

To receive the Degree of Fellow, applicants must have a combination of resident and/or active membership for a total of six years and must accumulate at least 100 points, as defined by the application.
The new Fellows will be honored at an invitation-only convocation breakfast held during 2006 AAFP Scientific Assembly on Sept. 30 in Washington, D.C. This year’s keynote speaker at the breakfast will be former U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher, M.D., Ph.D., FAAFP. Individuals do not need to be present to receive the distinction.
