Presenters Win Awards for Posters

The first-place award of $700 for a residency poster went to Madigan Army Medical Center Family Medicine Residency, Tacoma, Wash., for “EGD by a FM Endoscopist: Cost Comparison.” Lloyd Runser, M.D., was senior exhibitor for the poster.
The second-place award of $300 for a residency poster went to Mercy/Mayo Family Medicine Residency Program, Des Moines, Iowa, for “Early Postpartum Depression Screening and Education in Iowa Hospitals.” Kyla Carney, D.O., was senior exhibitor.
The first-place award of $700 for a medical student poster went to the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine for “Prototype of an Otoscope Webcam.” Jon-Paul Pepper was senior exhibitor.
The second-place award of $300 for a medical student poster went to the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth, for “Alcoholism Diagnosis in Family Practice.” Kimberly Schoonover was senior exhibitor.
