In response to a resolution passed during the recent Congress of Delegates in Chicago, the AAFP has made information about the Academy's conflict of interest disclosure policy more readily available to members.
AAFP Links Members to Conflict of Interest Information
By News Staff
A new link and Web page were added to the AAFP Board of Directors section of the Academy Web site after delegates adopted a resolution directing the AAFP to "make it clear to members that conflict of interest statements are available on request and how members can obtain this information both in written and electronic formats."
The Web page provides information on the AAFP policy regarding actual or potential conflicts of interest among members of the Academy's Board of Directors and tells members how they can request conflict of interest statements for individual Board members.
