AAFP Foundation Establishes Annual Fund
Donations Provide Ongoing Support for Specialty

The AAFP Foundation is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a new fund designed to provide ongoing support for the specialty's legacy and philanthropic work.
The AAFP Foundation Annual Fund will support practice-based clinical research; scholarships and grants for medical students and residents; the Center for the History of Family Medicine; the Tar Wars tobacco cessation program; humanitarian efforts, including Physicians With Heart and its Children's Project; and other programs.
"By donating to this new fund, family physicians can help us touch lives and secure family medicine's legacy," says AAFP Foundation President Mark Belfer, D.O., of Akron, Ohio.
Donations can be made online using a credit card; by phone at (800) 274-2237, Ext. 4440; or by check mailed to the AAFP Foundation, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood, KS, 66211.
