New FPs Get More Discounts in Revamped Experience the AAFP Program

New physician members now can take advantage of many new discounts on courses, products and services as part of the Academy's Experience the AAFP program.
The revamped benefits program for new physician members -- those in their first seven years after completing residency -- is intended to help these members address such issues as American Board of Family Medicine certification, earning and reporting CME credits, coding and billing, and privileging and credentialing.
Here's a sampling of some of the discounts featured as part of the program:

- $100 off the registration fee for the 2009 AAFP Scientific Assembly, to be held Oct. 14-17 in Boston;
- $100 off a Family Medicine Board Review live course;
- $50 off a Family Medicine Board Review Express course;
- $50 off any live, AAFP-produced clinical CME course;
- $35 off the FP Comprehensive CD-ROM;
- 20 percent off a combined FP Essentials/FP Audio subscription;
- 15 percent off all self-study CME packages, such as the Emergency and Urgent Care Audio CD and Syllabus and the Infant, Child and Adolescent Medicine Audio CD and Syllabus; and
- 50 percent off the Family Practice Management Coding Anthology.
Additional discounts will be added periodically.
