AAFP Board Approves Appointment of Student Chair for 2012 Conference

Due to unforeseen circumstances, a replacement has been named for the position of student chair of the 2012 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students.

The AAFP Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Sebastian Tong, of Brookline, Mass., as student chair for the 2012 conference. Tong was runner-up for the position in an election at the 2011 National Conference held in July in Kansas City, Mo.

Tong fills a vacancy created when the elected candidate, Alyson Lewis, of Ormond Beach, Fla., withdrew in September.
