ALF, NCSC: Get Two Conferences for Price of One

If networking opportunities, one-on-one access to AAFP leaders, and the opportunity to improve leadership and diversity skills aren't reasons enough to attend the Annual Leadership Forum this May in Kansas City, Mo., here's another: two conferences for the price of one.

By registering for ALF, May 5-6 at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, you also can enjoy the National Conference of Special Constituencies, which runs from May 4-6. What's more, by registering before Feb. 28, you'll qualify for the early bird rate of only $195 for both conferences. After Feb. 28, the registration fee is $250.

ALF is designed to provide opportunities for you to network with AAFP leaders from throughout the country, update your knowledge about family medicine leadership issues, learn about the latest resources for chapters and chapter leaders, and focus on leadership training and personal and chapter development.

Attendees at NCSC will suggest policies and programs to the AAFP on behalf of such special constituencies as women; minorities; new physicians; international medical students; and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender physicians. Using procedures modeled after those used by the AAFP Congress of Delegates, participants will discuss issues, write resolutions, be part of reference committee hearings and vote on resolutions.

Further information and registration are available online or by calling (800) 274-2237, Ext. 6870, for ALF, or Ext. 6800 for NCSC.
