The webinar, titled "Leveraging Technology to Enhance Patient Engagement" is accessible via TransforMED's Delta-Exchange network. It will walk physicians through solutions surrounding EHR issues, including
  • solving data entry problems that cost practices time and money,
  • coaching patients to provide health information that will help the practice meet performance markers, and
  • staying on top of an evolving health information technology software application market.
Also included will be tips about some of the latest technology available from both the private and public sector. These tips can help physicians improve the health of their patients.

Bachman is an EHR expert who currently serves as vice chair of education in the Department of Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He also is the Sanders Professor of Primary Care at the Mayo Foundation. Bachman, who has considerable expertise with electronic health records, runs a completely paperless medical practice.

Time is allotted in the webinar for questions from participants.

Register for this webinar in the online seminars zone on Delta-Exchange. AAFP members who have not yet accessed their free Delta-Exchange membership must do so before registering for the webinar.

Physicians who have already joined Delta-Exchange can log directly into the network and select "Online Seminars" in the left-hand column to register for the live webinar. The webinar will be archived for physicians unable to participate in the live event.
