Bender purchased a family medicine practice in 2002 and grew that practice from 2,500 patients to more than 10,000 today. As president and CEO of Miramont Family Medicine, Bender transformed the practice into a PCMH that now is available to patients in four locations.
The practice features individual patient portals where patients can make appointments, complete registration forms, review lab results and ask questions. An overall practice goal is to help make each patient's health care experience more convenient by providing as many services as possible in one location.
During the webinar, Bender will help physicians understand
- the amount of capital needed to launch PCMH practice changes,
- the extent of PCMH-related practice costs that physicians may not have considered and
- how small changes within a practice can foster enhanced revenue.
