Coalition Seeks Input on Health System Reform

The coalition has developed an online survey aimed at examining American values and desires for an optimal health care system.
Coalition members worked with CodeBlueNow! -- a grass-roots organization focused on health care reform -- to develop the survey. It consists of 22 questions that measure agreement or disagreement with such statements as, "It is important to find a way to slow down health care costs and health insurance premiums," and, "We need to have uniform clinical standards and guidelines that health care professionals can use to make sure we receive the most effective care."
The anonymous survey, which is not limited to physician input, will remain open until Aug. 30. The organizers hope to collect 50,000 responses and to present an in-depth report based on the survey's findings to elected officials, presidential hopefuls and the media as the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign heats up.
