Family Medicine Residents, Medical Students Elect New Leaders

Delegates to the National Congress of Family Medicine Residents and the National Congress of Student Members chose new leaders here Aug. 2 to represent them in the coming year. Here are the election results:
Resident and student members of the AAFP Board of Directors: Jennifer Bacani, M.D., of Wichita, Kan., and Amy McIntyre, of Cranston, R.I.

Chairs of the 2009 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students: Robert Stenger, M.D., M.P.H., of Portland, Ore., and Bethany Enoch, of Spring Hill, Kan.

Alternate delegates to the 2008 AAFP Congress of Delegates: Eric Clarkson, D.O., M.B.A., of Mission, Kan.; Melody Jordahl, M.D., of Tempe, Ariz.; Jacob Bryan of Columbus, Ohio; and Patrick Brent Smith of Jackson, Miss.

Resident representative to the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors Board of Directors: Gretchen Dickson, M.D., M.B.A., of Lee's Summit, Mo.

Resident representative to the AAFP Foundation Board of Trustees:
Michael Oller II, M.D., M.P.H., of Wichita, Kan.

National family medicine interest group coordinator:
Tanya Anim, of Tallahassee, Fla.

Resident and student representatives to the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Board of Directors: Daisuke Yamashita, M.D., of Portland, Ore., and Erin Corriveau of Albuquerque, N.M. (Corriveau was elected the student representative to the STFM board in 2007 and has been invited by STFM to serve a second term.)
