Prerequisites for Acceptance:
Completion of family medicine residency and interest in medical editing/writing. Previous experience or skill in writing/editing helpful. Candidates should be US citizens or have permanent resident status. All applicants must be a member of AAFP (any category of membership).Application Deadline: 03/01/08

Sponsored by the AAFP, this unique fellowship trains future faculty in evidence based medicine and continuing medical education through experience as an apprentice editor on American Family Physician. Fellows develop faculty skills by teaching in Georgetown's medical student and residency programs; clinical care is also included.
