Immunization Schedules
To reduce and/or eliminate the occurrence of chronic diseases, it is important that family physicians vaccinate patients who are due for immunizations. Each year, the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices collaborate to develop recommendations for the routine use of vaccines in children, adolescents, and adults in the United States.
