The Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007 was signed into law on December 29, 2007 and authorizes the continuation of the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative. The reporting period is January 1 – December 31, 2008. The practice can receive a 1.5% bonus on the total allowed charges for covered services.
