UAB/Selma Family Medicine Center serves as a referral center for the 7 surrounding counties, drawing on a population of over 100,000 people. The residents are based at the Selma Medicine Center adjacent to the well equipped community hospital. The program is designed to meet the special needs of those physicians who intend to practice in rural & semi-rural areas. We also offer a strong OB rotation with in-house OB/GYN faculty.
