AHEC Southwest enjoys having two faculty members who have CAQs in Geriatrics and Sports Medicine, respectively. The annual sports medicine seminar is known for outstanding presentations and guests, including a team physician for a professional football/hockey team, nationally recognized sports medicine authors, and others. The geriatric curriculum is centered at the Center on Aging which is located in the same building as the residency clinic.
