This comm-based unopposed prog also offers 4 req'd rotations in a tertiary care univ med ctr providing an excellent combination of hands-on & one-on-one supervised teaching. There is a core of fam pract faculty and a larger number of subspecialty volunteer faculty. Grads are heavily recruited to the Whittier area & placed in excellent positions. Also offered is a tropical med longitudinal concentration which spans 3 years with trips to Africa.
