The ISU FMR is an unopposed WWAMI residency offering intensive training for rural practice. Uniquely housed in a State University, it’s closely associated with the divisions of Pharmacotherapy, NIH funded Research, Alternative Med, Humanities and Info Tech. Internal Med, procedures and obstetrics are very strong. Our goal is to provide a collegial learning environment in which residents become mature, competent, compassionate family physicians.
