Excellent training in outpatient medicine. Excellent resources: have all specialties "at our fingertips." Have capability to become well-versed in managed care and practice management. This is stressed, by most recruiters, as a weakness in graduating residents throughout the country. The city of Springfield and its surrounding cities are safe and clean--amenable to raising a family. Additionally the city offers many inexpensive golf courses.
