Cosponsored by University of Iowa and Pella Regional Health Center, this rural track program trains physicians in skills necessary for successful rural practice. First year is spent in Iowa City, years two and three in Pella. Pella is community of 10,000 two hours west of Iowa City and one hour sw of Des Moines. Pella has charm and hospitality of small community, but exudes the drive and ambition of a metro area.
