Founded in 1998 through the cooperative efforts of the Department of Family Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and the Kenner Regional Medical Center, the Family Practice Residency Program is a community-based, university-administered, 6/6/6 program, fully accredited by the ACGME. Housed in a new state-of-the-art facility, the Family Practice Ctr is located in Kenner, LA, a quiet suburb twenty minutes from downtown New Orleans.
