Approved in May 2007 for eight residents/year, training and experience in ambulatory and community-based settings are emphasized. The program uses an electronic medical record (nextGen) and an electronic residency management program (New Innovations). In-house call resposibilities will provide appropriate educational opportunities and comply with duty hour requirements, yet provide residents time for studying, family and leisure activities.
