Established in 1974, the Bon Secours Cottage Health Services family medicine residency was among the first to offer training in family medicine in the State of Michigan. Residents have responsibility for very sick inpatients and have little competition for procedures including obstetrical deliveries. Faculty and facilities are in place for special emphasis on excellence in geriatrics, women's health, sports medicine and research.
