The Lutheran Medical Center program is the oldest Family Medicine residency in NYC. Its mission is to provide a solid clinical training experience with special emphasis on community and urban health issues. A biopsychosocial perspective is incorporated into all levels of training. Strong obstetrical, adolescent, geriatric and home care programs exist. Research is well supported and encouraged.
